What is Coaching ?

Coaching is a thought provoking and creative process aiming to maximize personal potential. It is emotional intelligence in practice, a way of being, leading, thinking, of treating people. Coaching removes internal obstacles such as fear, doubt, self-criticism, and limiting beliefs or assumptions ; to unlock people’s potential.

People search for meaning and how they can make a unique contribution to life, community and the world, but only 40% of workers globally bring their potential to their work. It would be far more beneficial if people were to experience life coaching in a proactive way rather than what is usually the case, in a crisis situation. Success in life coaching comes from your own efforts, through nourishment and encouragement ; which will lead to a longer, more fulfilling life. Self-esteem is the life force of the personality, and if that is suppressed or diminished, so is the person. Coaching develops positive self-esteem, self-awareness and self-management.

Questions to ask…

  1. How clear are you on your goals and how much do your attitudes, beliefs and actions support you by moving you closer to your goals?
  2. What will success look like for you ?
  3. How much do you take control of your life, seeing yourself as being responsible for your own actions?

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle”

Steve Jobs
